Linking Accounts

A guide to linking multiple portal accounts

Clients can now choose to link multiple emails together to allow access to a single Primary account from multiple sets of Secondary login credentials.

Each login credential will still be associated with it's own account but all linked emails will only view the digital assets and details of the Primary account. We recommend that prior to linking emails, clients transfer any digital assets in their Secondary Email accounts to the Primary Email account.

 

1) What is a Primary Email?

"Primary Email" designates the account whose digital assets that will be accessed by all credentials, receive subscribed email notifications, be able to initiate/confirm withdrawal requests.

Secondary email accounts can initiate withdrawal requests, but will not receive email notifications and cannot confirm withdrawal requests.

 

2) How do I add a Secondary Email?

(1) First, you must register a new Zerocap Account using your desired new email address. Each new email address will require a corresponding password, completed 2FA, and accepted agreements. Refer to the instructions here https://zerocap.com/signup/

 

If you have any questions, please reach out to your account manager or the Zerocap support team.

(2) After you have successfully created the account, you can login to your Primary Email, navigate to Preferences, and click "Add Email" to add the Secondary Email.

(3) When adding a new email, a verification code will be sent to the new address to verify ownership. Upon entering the verification code, you will be able to submit a request to add the new email.

(4) Each request will be reviewed by the Zerocap KYC team. If your request is approved, you will see the change reflected in the "Email" section of the preference page.

3) How do I change the Primary Email?

(1) Within the "Email" section of the Preference page, and then click "Set Primary" next to your desired email address. You will be prompted to send a verification code to the current Primary Email Account on file to confirm this action. Upon entering the correct verification code, you will be able to submit this change request.

(2) Each request will be reviewed by the Zerocap KYC team. If your request is approved, you will see the change reflected in the "Email" section of the preference page.

4) How do I delete a non-primary Email account?

(1) Within the "Email" section of preference page, you can click "Delete" to unlink the selected email from the Primary account. You will be prompted to send a verification code to the current Primary Email Account on file to confirm this action. Upon entering the correct verification code, you will be able to submit this change request.

(2) Each request will be reviewed by the Zerocap KYC team. If your request is approved, you will see the change reflected in the "Email" section of the preference page.
