How to Enter Savings & Fixed Term Deposits

This article goes through how Saving & Fixed Term Deposit can be setup.

Zerocap offers competitive yield on 6 major digital assets (listed below), each of which may be placed into either a Fixed Term Deposit, or Savings Account (Open term).

The assets you can generate yield on include:

  • Bitcoin
  • Ether
  • PAX Gold
  • Tether USD
  • USD Coin

How to get started?

All deposits into “Savings Accounts” and “Fixed Term” accounts are handled through the Zerocap Portal’s user interface. In order to make a deposit the client will need to navigate from the landing page to the  “Crypto” tab (Pictured below).

By clicking into the respective asset the user will then be able to enter into a savings account, or term deposit:

When selecting to deposit into a savings account - the user will be prompted to enter the amount they wish to allocate, and the estimated withdrawal (end) date. The portal also conveniently calculates the estimated interest accrued for the elected period:

If looking for higher yields, investors have the option to enter into a term deposit - the user will have the option to select from three different lockup periods: 3 month, 6 month, and 12 month.

After Submitting the each deposit request - the Zerocap team will then review and approve the asset transfer, and yield will start to be accrued.

How often is yield accrued?

Savings accounts:  Interest is calculated on a daily basis. This amount is visible in the portal (underneath each respective savings/Term Deposit account).

Term deposits - Yield is calculated on a daily basis, however investors will only receive the principal + interest at the end of the allotted time period.*
